A wintry scene as we move towards the close of the year. The short days can still be inspiring and envigorating with coast and countryside to enjoy.

Poem by Richard Maslen:
Blythburgh Summer

Blythburgh Summer

Blythburgh Church

Could I make Time stand still,
Then I would wish it always five.
Early morning and calm air,
Far away estuarine sounds,
Incessant calls of gulls and geese.

By the Summerhouse
The Zephirine a mass of scented pink,
The loving bumblebee
Always at my window.
